What are some nice things I can say to myself without overdoing it?

Practicing self-love and positive self-talk is essential for maintaining a healthy relationship with yourself. However, it's important to strike a balance and avoid overdoing it or being overly self-critical. Instead of focusing solely on your external appearance or achievements, try complimenting yourself on your inner qualities and strengths. For example, you could say, "I'm proud of how resilient I am in the face of challenges" or "I appreciate my kindness and compassion towards others." Acknowledge your efforts and progress, no matter how small, and celebrate the unique qualities that make you who you are. Remember that self-love is about accepting yourself as you are, flaws and all, and treating yourself with kindness and compassion. By cultivating a positive and supportive inner dialogue, you can build confidence and resilience, and nurture a deeper sense of self-worth and fulfillment.
