Why do I feel emptiness in my body even though I do not feel depressed or tired? Also, why do I feel the circulation of air in my brain (head) and tinkling sensations in my hair follicles? I feel these sensations as I practice mindful meditation.

Sensations of emptiness, altered perceptions, and tingling sensations during mindful meditation can be indicative of various experiences commonly associated with meditation practice. Feeling empty may reflect a sense of detachment from thoughts, emotions, or external distractions, allowing for a deeper connection with one's inner self or spiritual dimensions. Altered perceptions, such as the circulation of air in the brain or tingling sensations, may arise from heightened awareness of bodily sensations or changes in neural activity induced by meditation. These experiences are often considered normal and can signify a deepening of mindfulness practice. However, it's essential to approach these sensations with curiosity and openness rather than fear or judgment. If discomfort or distress arises during meditation, it's advisable to adjust one's practice or seek guidance from an experienced teacher or meditation instructor.
