how to play the alphabet game as a couple
step 1
Pick a theme
Choose from the six below (or invent one). The theme is the whole personality of the round.
step 2
Alternate letters
One takes A, the other B, onward to Z. Answers must genuinely fit the letter - creative stretching is allowed, judged by the other player.
step 3
Run the stall clock
Ten seconds to produce your letter or you lose the round. X and Z stall-outs are honorable deaths.
step 4
Set the forfeit
Loser makes tomorrow's coffee, picks up the takeaway, or grants one wish under a euro/dollar. Keep it small and fun.
